From our bases in Cambridge and Berlin, we bring together startups, leaders, and organizations to ensure AI is built responsibly.
Æthos started as a physical space for AI founders to work and connect. After speaking with hundreds of builders, it became clear that what was missing wasn't just capital or talent, it was a community rooted in trust, shared ethics, and support.

Sam Rowe
Founder & CEO
With a background in renewable energy from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and experience across innovation policy, venture ecosystems, and early-stage acceleration, Sam brings a systems-level perspective to technology development. Through Æthos, he works to create inclusive spaces, shared resources, and collaborative infrastructure for the next generation of ethical AI builders.

Jean Arnaud
Co-founder & CIO
Jean Arnaud is a serial entrepreneur, educator, and digital artist — co-founder of NOVA (an AI-powered research and education startup) and Æthos (a global hub for AI innovators). He blends philosophy, art, and cutting-edge technology to rethink education, research and creative expression, driving immersive and AI-powered learning experiences. As a speaker at institutions like Harvard University and MIT, and at global events such as SXSW, he advocates for a human-centered, interdisciplinary approach to innovation.

Gabriela Torres
Co-founder & COO
I’m passionate about Human–AI interaction and the use of behavioral design in AI start-ups and educational solutions. My main focus is exploring how to measure — and improve — decision-making, personalize solutions, and advance education and AI literacy through new AI applications.
